P.E.E.R.R.S.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Drury Classes of 2013 & 2014,

Drury High School is pleased to announce a new, exciting and innovative mentoring program founded by its very own students!  In an effort to support incoming grade eight and nine students,  P.E.E.R.R.S. (Positive Enforcement Encouraging Respect and Responsibility in Students) will pair participating eighth and ninth graders who elect to join with junior and senior "PEERRS" at Drury.  This group of upperclassmen will meet with their mentees on a regular basis in an effort to support students as they transition to the high school environment.  The long-term goal of the program is to have the PEERRS and their mentees develop a strong trusting relationship so that younger students will be embraced by a supportive network of upper classmen.   If you have any questions about P.E.E.R.R.S. and/or are interested in having your child join the program, please contact us via e-mail at peerrs.program@Gmail.com, or call Ms. Pinsonneault and/or Ms. Quirk at 662-3240 for more information.

Sincerely,

The P.E.E.R.R.S. Program Founding Committee
