- Edward J. Malley Jr. Memorial Scholarship - students planning careers in photojournalism.
- The Republican Scholarship - students within the newspaper circulation area who are planning careers in print journalism.
- Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America Scholarship: those who have asthma or significant allergies who plan on attending a school of higher education after high school. Deadline is February 15, 2008.
- Monsanto Company 2008 Commitment to Agriculture Scholarship Program: www.monsanto.com or www.nafb.com. Deadline is February 15, 2008.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities National Scholarship Program: for graduating senior eligible to attend a two or four year college or university or vocational/technical school. Deadline is February 15, 2008.
- Burger King Scholars Program: is available to apply online at www.bk.com/scholars. Applications begin October 15, 2007 and close February 15, 2008. Applicants must maintain a 2.5 average, work part-time, be involved in community service activities, enroll in a 2 or 4 year college or technical/vocational school by Fall of the application year.
- The National Co-Op Scholarship Program through Drexel University, Johnson & Wales University, Kettering University, Pace University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Cincinnati, University of Toledo, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, C.W, Post of Long Island. Scholarship amounting $4500. Deadline is February 15, 2008.

- The University of Maryland announces Dance Scholarships for gifted and talented Transfer/Freshman Dance Majors. See Guidance for information. Deadline is February 17, 2008.
- Fashion Institute of Technology Presidential Scholarship Program: for Associate's Degree and Bachelor's Degree program scholarships. Must be applying to Fashion Institute of Technology. Deadline is March 12, 2008 for Associate's and March 19, 2008 for Bachelor program.
- The Humane Society of the United States Shaw-Worth Memorial Scholarship - written letter stating actions taken on work on behalf of animals, inspiring leadership in animal protection organizations. See additional information. Deadline is March 17, 2008.

- Channel 22 Scholarship for students planning careers in television journalist. Deadline is April 1, 2008.
- Massachusetts Broadcasters Association Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program who are Massachusetts residents enrolling in an over-the-air broadcast program at an accredited two or four year college (student does not need to attend college in the Bay State to apply). Deadline is April 4, 2008.
